In June, FAAP (Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado) in São Paulo, Brazil, hosted a meeting that officially marked the beginning of the 2026 edition of the SEED Program (Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development).
A shared commitment
Held at FAAP’s Board of Trustees headquarters, the meeting brought together representatives of the university and the Japanese partners responsible for the program. Together, they discussed the guidelines for the upcoming edition of SEED, reaffirming a joint commitment to the internationalization of education, innovation, and stronger academic cooperation between Brazil and Japan.
About the SEED Program
Created by GOROM Association, SEED offers an academic and intercultural experience that brings together students of different nationalities in multicultural teams. Working on real challenges presented by businesses in Yamanashi Prefecture, participants develop innovative solutions for Japanese companies and organizations.
Over the years, the program has established itself as a leading international training initiative that fosters knowledge exchange, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The meeting was also attended by Japanese entrepreneur Mr. Tetsutaro Nakagomi, President & CEO of DAITA Co., Ltd. and a supporter of the SEED Program, whose involvement has helped strengthen the initiative and bring the academic and business sectors in Japan closer together.
