During their initial day in Tokyo, the group met Ms. Toko Tamaki, Manager of Cacao Hunters Japan. Here they learned about the Colombia-based foundation’s impactful work dedicated to enhancing cocoa-growing families and crops while fostering efficient commercial and agricultural models across regions. Additionally, students also learned about the philosophy of the organization: the importance of education. By providing technical assistance and innovation, Cacao Hunters fosters independence, transforming both cocoa harvesting practices and the lives of cultivators.
