In this internship, I will go to Colombia to work mainly at Haru no Hinata. There, through classes we will teach real Japanese that is used in Japan, hold workshops, introduce Hiroshima, and hold okonomiyaki making events. We also participate in Japanese language classes at the University of Los Andes in Bogota and hold events to teach about Japanese culture.
Before arriving in Colombia, I was looking forward to meeting new people, seeing the friends I made through the SEED Program, and being able to talk to as many people as possible about Japanese culture and the peace of Hiroshima.
My personal goal for this internship is to make as many friends as possible and increase the number of people who are interested in Japan.
