On July 18th we had our second remote session of the SEED Program 🌸✨. The six teams met the inspiring producers from Yamanashi with whom they’ll be working all year long 🚀.
The session kicked off with a thought-provoking lecture by Professor Juan Carlos Diaz (EAFIT University, Colombia) on Cross-Cultural Understanding, reminding us how language, expressions, and cultural awareness open the door to meaningful collaboration across borders 🌍🤝.
Later, Mr. Goro Mutsuura, president of the GOROM Association, shared the core mission of the SEED Program: revitalizing the economy of Yamanashi through partnerships with local producers of sake, wine, jewelry, souvenirs, and tourism 🍶🍇💎🎎🌿.
To wrap up, the teams came together to begin shaping their research papers—the first step in an exciting journey ahead! 📚💡
