July 8th (Japan time) marked the first official class of the 2023 SEED Program! This year’s cohort met for the first time online for orientation to get to know one another, learn about this year’s project and themes, as well as hear from a few of our major sponsors and supporters.
GOROM Association donors, the Argentinian Embassy, the Brazilian Embassy, the Colombian Embassy, and the Japanese Ministry of Economy all gathered to deliver words of support and encouragement for the bright and passionate students who will be taking part in this year’s social entrepreneurship program.
Students learned about this year’s thematic industries in further detail and their team assignments. The session was wrapped up with some icebreaker activities and opportunities to get closer to new teammates.
