Tiene experiencia trabajando en instituciones financieras internacionales y anteriormente se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como asesor econ\u00f3mico del gobierno de Nicaragua. Durante su mandato en el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, dirigi\u00f3 varios proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n en muchos sectores, incluido el educativo, para orientar las operaciones de la cartera de pr\u00e9stamos.
