Content:<\/strong> On October 10th, our session featured Professor Maria Alejandra<\/strong> from Universidad del Rosario (Colombia)<\/strong>, who guided us through the world of Storytelling and the Hero\u2019s Journey\u2014how leaders and changemakers can use narrative to inspire, connect, and create meaningful impact \ud83c\udf0d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Maria Alejandra introduced the Hero\u2019s Journey<\/strong>\u2014a timeless narrative map that guides audiences through call, challenge, and change. We explored its stages and archetypes, and why this structure powers books, films, and campaigns across cultures. From Adventure Time<\/em> to Iron Man<\/em> to Twilight<\/em>, examples showed how story shapes emotions, memory, and meaning \ud83c\udfac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do we turn ideas into a pitch that moves people?<\/strong> By telling a clear, human story. We practiced a simple arc our teams can follow for December in Yamanashi, Japan \ud83c\uddef\ud83c\uddf5: Hook \u2192 Problem \u2192 Hero \u2192 Mentor \u2192 Trials \u2192 Insight \u2192 Solution \u2192 Impact \u2192 Call to Action.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal: connect with the audience, show transformation, and make the next step unmistakable\ud83d\udca1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, teams moved to their breakout rooms, where they continued building the first version of their pitch decks<\/strong>, applying the Hero\u2019s Journey concept to their projects and pitching structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next session:<\/strong> Rehearsal and feedback\u2014one step closer to Yamanashi, and to stories that inspire real change.<\/p>\n\n\n
